Sally Scheidegger

a little bit about me…

I have enjoyed working in education and employment for over 25 years. I especially enjoy working as a trainer in the Skills to Pay the Bills area and in the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) supported employment model; which is an effective approach for helping people with mental illness who want to work in competitive jobs. I owned an outdoor retail store for over 20 years and also have experience as a, grant writer, job developer, and volunteer at a local equestrian center where I have the opportunity to work with people in the community and local veterans. My work experience has enabled me to work with the Department of Health Services-local and state, Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Center, and the Veterans Administration-local and state. I currently work at UW-Stout, Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute as a Skills to pay the Bills Trainer.
