A Promise Mom achieved her employment goal last week with the help of her Promise Counselor. She got a teaching job that she wanted and feels is the perfect fit for her…it pays $45,000 per year, and provides her with full benefits!
Her son is completing a Trial Work Experience (TWE) related to his goal of working in the field of photography/audio visual tech. His employer is STRONGLY encouraging him to apply for a permanent opening after his TWE ends!

Promise helped a youth who is interested in photography participate in a Trial Work Experience (TWE) related to his goal of working in the field of photography/audio visual technology. His employer STRONGLY encouraged him to apply for a position after his TWE ended, and he’s currently completing an internship as a Camera Technician with the same employer. He loves the job and is doing really, really well at it and learning some great things. He also found a position videotaping events at an art gallery, and is gaining great skills to help him reach his goal of a photography/art-related career.
Meanwhile, with the assistance of a Promise-funded job developer, his Mom got a job that she wanted and feels is the perfect fit for her…it pays $45,000 per year, and provides her with full benefits!
This family will get off SSI and be financial independent!
